Bought this product on the 27 June 2024 at Makro Wonderboom for R4999.00. A complete disappointment. This product should be recalled and discontinued. The temperature cannot be adjusted as desired. The water gets too hot even when adjusted to minimum, and thereafter gets cold and does not warm up.

My 16lt Alva heater is not heating up the water at the moment.

New gas cylinder and batteries installed - gas from cylinder flowing, sparking but no ignition

Please help?

Before it worked brilliantly and I love the geyser, but I need my hot water back - am living on a farm in the Drakensberg mountains

it's fine no problems see so far

Works great, will recommend it to anyonoe

Very satisfied with the unit. Easy to install and brought down my electricity usage tremendously.

Excellent equipment

Really great value for money. Only problem I had was to find a Alva Flue

It's lightweight, easy to install and small so it fits anywhere. But it has an automatic switch off when it gets to 73 degrees, that makes for an unpleasant bathing experience as the water just cant get warm enough in the winter.

Product works but warning you must have a flue fitted on the water heater else it does not work. That is the cause of the 1 to 2 min cut off after installation. Make sure you have at least 850cm clearance for the flue to be fitted.

delivered in excellently

The geyser supplied was faulty. A technician was dispatched to repair the geyser on site. As an owner of several gas geysers, I prefer the other brand (the dark grey geyser with two knobs on the front panel) that is slighly more expensive. Why? Because the other brand is easier to operate, and it arrives in 100% working condition.

Product arrived before the time, the gentleman dropping the item kept his distance, very impressed. Item installed and working awesomely! Thank you Takealot....

absoluut fantastic product and good price range.

Takealot is really a nice site to shop. So much to choose from. Delivery is also fast. You don't have to wait along time to receive goods. Especially now in these difficult times delivery service was fast. Was pleasantly surprised.

As expected, Alva is always a winning product.

Very happy with the product

Great product. Saving a lot of money on my bill

Doesn't come with a chimney so expect that. Other than that it works great. We recently moved over to gas and it's worth every penny.
