Water-based cooling
Evaporative cooling passes air over a water-absorbing filter and adds moisture to the air. This is not a compressor-based air conditioner. Designed for indoor household use, the unit should sit on a sturdy, flat surface with at least 30cm of free space around it. Avoid prolonged cooling use in enclosed, poorly ventilated spaces, as humidity can build up.
Filling and using the tank
Switch off and unplug before filling or refilling. Check the drain plug is secure, slide the rear tank out and fill with clean cold water without exceeding MAX. Slide it back into position. Do not add chemicals, oils or other additives. Keep water above MIN when cooling and change it regularly.
Freeze the included ice packs for 3–4 hours before use and place a frozen pack in the tank water for additional cooling. Cooling stops automatically if water runs low. For fan-only operation without water, keep Cool Air switched off.
Cleaning and care
- Switch off and unplug before cleaning or moving the unit.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soapy solution if needed; dry afterwards. Avoid abrasive cleaners and never immerse the unit, cord or plug.
- Clean the rear air filter regularly with mild detergent and lukewarm water, rinse and air dry fully. Do not use direct sunlight or heat to dry it.
- Clean the water-absorbing filter with clean water and a soft brush only; do not use detergent.
- The tank slides out but cannot be removed completely. Drain using its rubber plug, clean with warm water and a mild soapy solution, rinse and dry.
- Drain all water before long-term storage and store in a dry place out of children's reach.
