Using the cooler
Designed for indoor household use. Place the unit on a sturdy, flat surface with at least 30cm of free space around it for ventilation. Avoid prolonged use of the Cool Air function in enclosed, poorly ventilated spaces, as humidity can build up.
Fill the tank with fresh cold water before using Cool Air. Keep the water between the MIN and MAX marks and change it regularly. Ice cubes or the included ice packs can be used for additional cooling. For fan-only operation, keep Cool Air switched off.
This unit uses water-based evaporative cooling and adds moisture to the air. It is not a compressor-based air conditioner.
Cleaning and care
- Switch off and unplug before cleaning, servicing or moving the unit.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and, if needed, a mild soapy solution. Dry afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the appliance, cord or plug.
- Clean the rear air filter regularly with mild detergent and lukewarm water. Rinse and allow it to air dry fully before reuse; do not use direct sun or heat to dry it.
- Clean the water-absorbing filter with clean water and a soft brush only. Do not use detergent on this filter.
- Clean the ventilation grilles with a vacuum cleaner fitted with a soft brush nozzle.
- Drain the tank using its stopper, clean with warm water and a mild soapy solution, then rinse and dry.
- Before long-term storage, unplug and drain the unit. Store in a dry place out of children's reach.
