Replacement Control Units (Switches) – Important Information

Replacement controls should only be purchased if your current control has been damaged due to one of the following:

Physical damage to the switch
Visible damage to the power cord
Water or liquid exposure

Our electric blankets are designed with advanced safety features. If the blanket or its internal circuitry becomes unsafe to operate, the control unit will automatically shut down and permanently disable the blanket to prevent risk.

In some cases, replacing the control may temporarily restore functionality. However, if the same safety issue is detected again, the new control will also shut down the blanket to ensure your safety.

Please note:
Do not purchase or use a replacement control unless your original unit was damaged in one of the ways listed above. This is a safety-critical system, not a fault reset.

IMPORTANT:
1) This controller is only suitable for the PURE PLEASURE or ALVA BLANKET mentioned below.
We reserve the right to charge a 25% handling fee on purchases mistakenly made for use with other brands.

2) If your electric blanket is not working this could be as a result of an issue other than switch failure.
Before replacing the switch, we advise having the unit checked by our service technicians in Cape Town or Johannesburg. We will not credit a switch purchase if the blanket is the issue.
