RECIPE : Lamb Curry sosaties

What you need

  • 1 kg lamb – debone and cut into large chunks
  • Splash of oil
  • 1 onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and crush - and same amount of grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 cups vinegar
  • 200 grams apricot jam
  • Pinch of salt
  • Half a cup chopped dried apricots
  • Half a cup chopped red onions
  • 6 skewers

Fry onions in oil until glassy, add ginger, garlic and curry powder and fry until mixed. Add in jam, vinegar and salt until it boils. Remove from heat and let cool. Add the lamb and skewer the meat and braai! (For stronger flavors you can marinade overnight)
